Phil established the company in 1999, having worked for a major financial services company for eight years.
Although qualified in all areas in which the company offers advice, his primary role is Commercial and Business Finance advice.
Away from the office he enjoys a busy family life and sailing at every available opportunity.
Karen joined the company in December 2000 after a few years at a large Financial Services Group, she has many years’ experience in arranging Residential and Buy to Let mortgages.
She has lived and worked in the local area since 1977! She spends much of her spare time with her husband and their two children including taxiing them to various activities. She enjoys socialising & holidays with friends and during the summer plays rounders within the Torbay Ladies League.
Holly joined the company in August 2003 after four years at a large Financial Institution.
Holly was born in Torbay. She spends much of her spare time with her husband and their two young sons in her local village Shaldon. She enjoys socialising with friends, being on the beach and spending time on their boat... when it's sunny!
Katie joined the company in 2007 as administrator, moving on to pass her Mortgage Advice Qualifications in 2012 and has been advising her own clients since.
Most weekends Katie & her husband can be found cheering on Torquay Rugby Club’s junior section as their son Oliver is a player. She loves to travel & has an avid interest in wine – combining the two is her idea of heaven!
Dan joined the company in May 2015 as Residential Mortgage Administrator, he studied hard and quickly qualified as an advisor.
Dan was born in Torbay and has always lived and worked in the local area. His primary interest outside of work is golf and trying to achieve a single figure handicap.
Gemma started in 2016. In addition to some office management duties she provides commercial administration support liaising with clients lenders and other professionals involved in the process of obtaining funding for business finance.
She enjoys spending time with family & friends and also likes to explore the South Devon coastline by kayak making sure there are plenty of Prosecco stops along the way.
Charlotte joined the team in September 2016 as an administrator supporting and managing the advisors.
She enjoys spending her free time horse riding, walking her dog, keeping fit and of course, shopping. She can often be found eating and occasionally gets the mornings and afternoons confused!
Stephen & Kevin
Stephen a senior member of the administration team joined the company in 2007. Duties primarily include assisting with administration tasks specifically the stapling of large reams. In his spare time he likes to relax by opening up with family and friends.
Kevin has managed the staff canteen since 1999 ensuring that all are fed and watered. He can get a little hot under the collar but does make an excellent cup of tea. During his spare time he likes nothing better than letting off a bit of steam and cooling down.
